special place

A place that is special WALT: Visualise and write about a place that is special to us.Task:  Write a descriptive paragraph about a special place. Your special place can be inside or outside.
Think:Close your eyes and bring this place to mind.Look around, what colours do you see? Textures? Shapes?Look at the furnishings: is there anything on the wall?Note the time of day.  What season is it?What sounds do you hear?  Any voices?Any distinctive smells?  Are there any windows you can see out of?This tasks was not to hard because I new the area really well I really enjoyed doing it.

Hide and seek


WALT: visualise and write about an experience.
Read Vernon Scannell’s Hide and Seek poem.Think about playing a game of hide and seek or spotlight. Take yourself back to that moment of time playing the game.Picture in your head playing the game Tell us about…Where are you hiding?What is the first thought that pops into your head?What is the first sound you hear?Who are you hiding from?What can you see?Write down everything you can recall.You are going to write your memory of this time, remember to use descriptive language to create a vivid picture for the reader.Remember to also use your senses (sight, sound, touch etc) to help you describe.this tasks was really fun and easy.

Rutka


This week I got to learn all about a really good story a long time ago we had to do an activity were we Use this fact file to record the information you discover about one of the other Second World War diarists mentioned in the article. Use the internet to find out about this person and fill out the boxes below.we could either do Rutka Laskier or Miriam Cheszczewascki I chose to do Rutka because I could find a lot more information about her and I just found her a lot more interesting this task was a very fascinating task i learnt a lot from it and I hope that we do a lot more off it in the future/
