Hide and seek

WALT: visualise and write about an experience.
Read Vernon Scannell’s Hide and Seek poem.Think about playing a game of hide and seek or spotlight. Take yourself back to that moment of time playing the game.Picture in your head playing the game Tell us about…Where are you hiding? What is the first thought that pops into your head? What is the first sound you hear?Who are you hiding from? What can you see?Write down everything you can recall. You are going to write your memory of this time, remember to use descriptive language to create a vivid picture for the reader.Remember to also use your senses (sight, sound, touch etc) to help you describe.this tasks was really fun and easy.

  1. Kia ora Neve,

    Kei te pehea koe?

I hope you and your whanau are all safe and well for this time of Learning from Home.

I really enjoyed your Hide and Seek writing. It is kind of inbetween a poem and s short piece of descriptive writing. I like that you have used onomatopoeia "Achoo". I also like the cute ending where your brother says "Bless you". I think you have done a good job. As always, don't forget to check your spelling.

It is great that you are sharing your learning online and I will look forward to reading you next blog post.

    See you soon,
    Mrs Gully
